Thetford 2026
CBGS 2026 – Event 3 – Thetford
Over 100 years old, Thetford Golf Club is set within the Breckland heathland and winds its way through forests of pine, oak and birch, bordered by heather, gorse and broom. It has long been a favourite venue for the society.
The par-72 course measures 6,849 yards from the back tees and has a slope rating of 134. Rated just outside Golf World’s English Top 100, it offers a true test for golfers of all abilities, with gorse, heather and unexpected craters ready to punish any wayward tee shots.
The day includes:
- Arrival from 9:30 am for tea/coffee and bacon rolls
- Tee times to start from 11:12
- Maximum capacity of 48
- Dinner to begin at 6:00
- 2 x Nearest the pin and nearest the pin in two
