Date: Friday 13 June 2025
Venue: Graduate Hotel, central Cambridge
Time: 1800 to 0100

The 7th annual fundraising dinner returns to the Graduate Hotel in central Cambridge, raising money for Little Miracles, our 2025 charity chosen by Kari. This event grows from strength to strength, and we are delighted that Sir Alastair Cook is our guest speaker, along with CBGS’s very own Tom Williams as our MC.

Little Miracles website: https://www.littlemiraclescharity.org.uk/

Sir Alastair is considered one of the greatest opening batsman in Test cricket, and these selected stats speak for themselves:

  • England’s most-capped specialist test batsman, captaining the England team in 59 Tests, as well as 69 ODIs
  • The second-highest run-scorer in Test matches for England (a record broken only recently by Joe Root)
  • Youngest player to score 12,000 Test runs (the sixth overall)
  • 33 Test centuries for England and first England player to win 50 Test matches
  • The highest-scoring left-hander in Tests
