CBGS 2026 – Event 6 – Essendon Old Course
The tree-lined Old Course at Essendon offers up a stunning variety of beautifully landscaped holes. Stretching over 6,800 yards, this par-72 course is a picturesque, undulating parkland course that provides a genuine test for golfers of all levels.
One of the most loved holes is the challenging, downhill par-3 2nd. Measuring at 200+ yards from the white tees, the hole leads down to a demanding two-tiered green, which will require excellent putting to make it down in 3.
Watch out for the oak tree on the dog-legged 7th hole!
The day includes:
- Arrival from 9:15 am for tea/coffee and bacon rolls
- Tee times to start from 10:32 every 8 mins
- Maximum capacity of 48
- Dinner to begin at 4:30
- 2 x Nearest the pin, 9th and 13th and nearest the pin in two on 10th
