CBGS 2025 AGM
The CBGS AGM will be held on Thursday 27th February, from 6 pm to 11 pm, at the fantastic Madingley Hall:
For those members unfamiliar with this venue, there will be no parking problems as there is a big car park on-site.
The format will follow what we’ve done on previous AGM dinners – black tie dress code, drinks reception, the AGM, followed by a sit-down three-course meal.
Please can I remind all members must RSVP a yes or no by Wednesday 12th February. As per the terms of the contract with the venue, we have to confirm the final numbers by then.
Guest Speaker – Iain Carter
We are delighted, in a first for the society, to announce that BBC Golf correspondent Iain Carter will be our guest speaker for the evening. The BBC’s leading golf pundit since 2003, Iain has covered everything from the iconic European win at the 2012 Ryder Cup to more recently, the fallout from LIV golf. His stories include interviewing Donald Trump when he opened Turnberry to his first experience at the Masters.

Iain will attend the evening from 6pm, mingle with members and then speak for approximately 40 minutes around 9pm.
